Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perdatov comes to the cage accompanied by Muhammad Ali Speech. Jackson has chosen Lovely Day - Bill Withers as his entrance music. Nanos Perdatov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nanos Perdatov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mason Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perdatov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Perdatov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson trying to control the position.
Perdatov wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Perdatov stands and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Perdatov throws an elbow but Jackson slips to the side and avoids it well.

Perdatov is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Perdatov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.

Jackson is looking for a sweep.

Jackson wants to hold on but Perdatov pushes him away.

Perdatov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Nanos Perdatov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Perdatov just misses with a punch to the body.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Perdatov takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses.
Jackson misses with a lunging right hand
and Perdatov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice defenses there by Jackson.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Perdatov.
Perdatov lands a nice shot to the body.
Perdatov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Perdatov.
Jackson misses with a looping left.

Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Perdatov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jackson throws the left hand but Perdatov avoids the punch easily.

Perdatov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Perdatov's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Jackson walks into a straight right hand from Perdatov.

Nanos Perdatov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Perdatov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.

Perdatov throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely.
Perdatov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jackson is looking to control Perdatov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson misses with a head kick.
Perdatov with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jackson drops his hands momentarily and Perdatov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Perdatov does a little dance to reset his feet.

Perdatov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Perdatov.
Perdatov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jackson on the side of the head.
Jackson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Perdatov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Perdatov gets a double leg takedown into Jackson's guard.
Perdatov trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Perdatov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
Perdatov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jackson keeping full guard, as Perdatov tries to pass.
Perdatov trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nanos Perdatov wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jackson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Perdatov to score with a decent uppercut.
Perdatov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jackson.
Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Perdatov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard.

Perdatov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jackson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Nanos Perdatov!
