Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Skrtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petr Skrtic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maximus Frost! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Skrtic looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Skrtic throws a hook to the side of Frost's head but Frost sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Skrtic clinches up against the ropes. Skrtic is pressed up against the ropes. Frost has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Skrtic down to the mat. Skrtic avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Skrtic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Skrtic drives through with a takedown into guard. Skrtic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Skrtic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Skrtic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Skrtic advances to half guard. Skrtic missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Skrtic seems to be working for a kimura but Frost defends the submission attempt. Skrtic trying to control the action but Frost is working from the bottom. Frost pushes Skrtic off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skrtic instigates a clinch. Skrtic wants to get back to striking at distance but Frost won't allow it.

Petr Skrtic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Frost. Nice straight punches there by Frost. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frost. Skrtic tries to clinch but Frost is having none of it. Frost circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frost avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Frost looks to land a combination but Skrtic avoids it well. Frost misses with a two punch combination.
Skrtic tries to clinch but Frost moves out of range. Frost looks to clinch so Skrtic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Frost looks gassed! Frost keeping moving, preventing Skrtic from controlling successfully. Skrtic prevents Frost from getting back to his feet. Skrtic drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Frost manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Skrtic has Frost in his guard. Skrtic has momentary wrist control but Frost slips an elbow through the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost wants to stand but Skrtic is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Skrtic working for a triangle but Frost defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Skrtic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frost's guard. Skrtic prevents Frost from getting back to his feet. Skrtic trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Skrtic stands up and waves to Frost to follow him. Skrtic moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skrtic pushes Frost back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Skrtic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Skrtic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Frost wants to break free but Skrtic has control.
A short body shot lands from Skrtic as the two fighters clinch.
Skrtic missing with knees to the body.
Skrtic wants to stall.
Skrtic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Skrtic tries for a takedown but Frost sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Skrtic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frost counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Frost fails with the takedown and Skrtic counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Skrtic blocks the body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Skrtic dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Frost takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Skrtic fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Skrtic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frost. Skrtic drives through and clinches with Frost against the ropes.
Skrtic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Frost avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Frost trying to land knees to the body.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Skrtic. Frost scores with a knee to the head.
Skrtic stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frost gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Skrtic.

Skrtic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Skrtic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Frost does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Frost moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Frost is looking to stand up but Skrtic isn't so interested in that idea. Skrtic advances to half guard. Frost trying to hold on to Skrtic's head to control him but Skrtic postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Skrtic's guard. Frost tries to free his leg and advance position but Skrtic is retaining full guard. Skrtic working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Frost has passed into half guard!
Frost wants to free his trapped foot but Skrtic is holding on for dear life with his legs. Skrtic trying to hold on to Frost's head to control him but Frost postures up.
Frost is looking to advance position but Skrtic won't allow it. Skrtic looking for submissions off his back. Frost is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Skrtic gets in close and instigates a clinch. Frost wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Skrtic has him pressed against the ropes. Frost breaks the clinch.
Skrtic scores with a takedown into Frost's guard. Frost wants to sweep but no luck. Skrtic passes easily into side control. Nice work. Skrtic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Skrtic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Frost is looking to regain half guard here but Skrtic keeps moving and retains side control. Frost is not content to let Skrtic control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Skrtic dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Skrtic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Frost stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Skrtic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Skrtic has a takedown stuffed. A combination from Skrtic does no damage. Frost shoots and misses and Skrtic counters with a two punch combo. Skrtic throws a right and a left that both miss. Skrtic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Skrtic thuds a left hand into Frost's body. Frost stuffs the takedown. Skrtic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Skrtic moves into full mount! Frost won't be happy about that! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skrtic postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Frost looks a forlorn figure.
Skrtic can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frost is looking to escape. Frost can't escape the position.
Skrtic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Skrtic looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Frost tries to buck Skrtic off but he can't manage it. Frost is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Skrtic lands with some strikes. Skrtic won't let Frost get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Skrtic breaks from Frost's wrist control and lands an elbow. Frost tries to reverse the position but Skrtic maintains control. Skrtic looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Frost is looking to get to half guard. Skrtic cracks Frost with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Skrtic prevents Frost from getting the reversal. Skrtic has control of Frost's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Frost regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Frost is squirming around, avoiding Skrtic's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost wants to hold on but Skrtic pushes him away. Frost keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Skrtic with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Frost is in all sorts of trouble here.
Skrtic wants to take his opponent's back but Frost doesn't allow it. Skrtic tries to control but Frost wriggling away. Skrtic working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. You get the feeling that Frost really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Frost tries to hold on but Skrtic pushes him away. Frost working to try and regain half guard.
Skrtic looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Frost is trying desperately to improve position. Skrtic with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Frost tries to reverse the position but Skrtic maintains control. Maximus Frost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Petr Skrtic showed his dominance in that final round. Well Skrtic has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
