Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo throws a right and a left that Varelans avoids nicely.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bravo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Varelans tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Varelans tries to hold on but Bravo postures up.
Varelans is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bravo is staying active.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Varelans backs up against the cage.

Varelans fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bravo avoids it really well and circles away.
Bravo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Varelans back to the cage. Bravo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nice takedown defense from Bravo. No joy for Varelans on that attempt.
Varelans is looking to clinch but Bravo is avoiding it.
Bravo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Varelans's guard.

Varelans is trying to defend against the choke here but Bravo has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Bravo Tightens the hold and Varelans taps out furiously! Bravo displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chael Bravo!
Chael Bravo bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
