Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nurzhan Ulmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nurzhan Ulmes! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin takes a body punch but keeps moving. A combination from Ulmes does no damage. Martin avoids the body shot from Ulmes.
Ulmes slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Martin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Martin moves into full mount! Ulmes won't be happy about that! Ulmes is in a horrible position here. Martin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ulmes tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ulmes tries to lock up and control but Martin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Martin throws some wild stikes that Ulmes manages to avoid easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martin tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Ulmes tries to get to full guard but Martin has control of the leg. Ulmes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Martin is working away from the top position though. Ulmes wants to get back to full guard.

Martin gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ulmes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Martin. Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ulmes tries to bum rush Martin with a series of wild strikes but Martin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dean Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin swinging wildly here.
Martin shoots in for a double leg but Ulmes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Martin. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ulmes throws a nice looking combination but Martin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martin tries to stand but Ulmes is controlling from the bottom. Ulmes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ulmes is controlling Martin's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ulmes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ulmes looks to land a strike but Martin avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Ulmes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ulmes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Martin is proving hard to escape from. Martin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Martin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ulmes's guard. Ulmes keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Martin sitting in guard, not really doing much. Martin passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin trying to control the position but Ulmes is working away. Ulmes tries to bench press Martin off him but Martin keeps the position. Martin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ulmes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ulmes is trying to get back to half guard.

Ulmes struggling a bit here. Martin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ulmes's shoulder. That is not cool. Ulmes wants to control but Martin postures up. Martin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Martin decides to stand back up.

Martin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Martin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ulmes.
