Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justus Sheehan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheehan comes to the cage accompanied by Devil. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson tries to clinch
and Sheehan counters with a shoot takedown. Simpson fights it but they end up in guard.
Simpson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Sheehan tries to lock up and control but Simpson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Simpson tries to close the distance and clinch but Sheehan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sheehan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Simpson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sheehan swings around for an armbar but Simpson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sheehan's guard.
Sheehan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Simpson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sheehan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Simpson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Simpson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sheehan is proving hard to escape from.
Sheehan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Simpson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Simpson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sheehan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Simpson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sheehan, pushing him back against the cage.
Sheehan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Simpson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Simpson tries to land knees in the clinch but Sheehan avoids the damage to the body.
Simpson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Simpson tries a knee to the head but Sheehan blocks it.
Sheehan drags the fight down to the ground.
Sheehan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sheehan wants to sweep but no luck.

Sheehan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Simpson!

and Sheehan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Simpson's guard now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sheehan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Simpson controls Sheehan momentarily but Sheehan frees himself.
And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sheehan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
