The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luis wants to clinch
and Cavalcante holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cavalcante pulls guard successfully.
Cavalcante is adopting a defensive guard.
Cavalcante striking from his own guard.
Cavalcante has control of Luis's left arm, preventing Luis from doing any damage.
Cavalcante pushes Luis off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Cavalcante moves into the clinch.
Luis is trying to break the clinch but Cavalcante is controlling him.
Knees in the clinch landing for Cavalcante.

Cavalcante prevents the takedown attempt.
Luis looks gassed!
Luis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cavalcante jumps into guard, dragging Luis to the mat.
Cavalcante pulls Luis in close to his closed guard and prevents Luis from doing any damage or advancing position.
Luis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cavalcante has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Luis is looking to defend but Cavalcante has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Luis! Cavalcante pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Luis taps out and this one is all over!
