Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Hodgins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Doug Camcho!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodgins shoots in and drives through. Camcho sprawls well.
Camcho throws a low kick but Hodgins avoids it.
Hodgins with a poor takedown
enabling Camcho to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice sprawl there from Camcho as Hodgins shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Hodgins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hodgins throws a sloppy head kick
and Camcho counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hodgins's knee momentarily.
Camcho connects with a crisp jab.
Hodgins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Camcho as he avoids it easily.
Camcho fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hodgins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camcho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hodgins somewhat.
Hodgins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hodgins is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Camcho.
A head kick misses from Camcho.
Nice body punch from Camcho.
Hodgins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camcho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hodgins somewhat.
Camcho cracks the inside of Hodgins's front leg.
Doug Camcho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Camcho scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hodgins doesn't seem bothered though.
Hodgins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Camcho.
Hodgins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Camcho throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hodgins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Crunch! Camcho slams his shin into Hodgins's torso.
Camcho lands a jab to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Camcho moves into range and connects with a jab.
Camcho lands a big head kick that sends Hodgins to the canvas! Camcho follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Camcho!
A less than humble Doug Camcho misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
