Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soares comes into the arena with Vida Loka Parte 1 blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Soares.
Soares looks to score with a jab to the body but Jordan is just out of range.
A slow jab from Soares misses its intended target.
Soares misses with an uppercut. Jordan saw that one coming.
Soares misses with a hook. Jordan ducked under it nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Soares. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Soares.
It looks like Francis Jordan has been cut.
Jordan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Soares counters with a stiff right hand.
Soares throws the left hand but Jordan avoids the punch easily.
Soares fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Jordan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Soares.
Jordan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Soares is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jordan.
Jordan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Oooooh!!! Soares has knocked Jordan down with a huge combo! Soares steps away and waves a wobbly Jordan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Soares missing with a left hand there. Jordan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Soares throws a hook to the side of Jordan's head but Jordan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ricardo Soares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Soares misses.
Soares throws a jab but it's blocked by Jordan.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Soares knocks Jordan out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
