Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Runner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conrad Mesko!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mesko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Runner rushes Mesko and presses him up against the cage.
Mesko gets underhooks to prevent Runner's takedown attempt.
Runner pulls guard effortlessly.
Runner is looking for a triangle but Mesko pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mesko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Runner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Runner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mesko with a flurry of punches that miss.
Runner keeping moving, preventing Mesko from controlling successfully.
Runner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Runner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mesko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mesko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Runner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mesko is one step ahead there.
Mesko tries to free his leg and advance position but Runner is retaining full guard.

Runner is trying to control the position but Mesko postures up.
Runner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mesko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mesko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Runner looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mesko is defending well. Runner quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mesko has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Runner celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
