Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juarez Del Fuago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juarez Del Fuago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Johnson! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Del Fuago taking shots to the head. Johnson raining down hammerfists from mount. Del Fuago is looking to get to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Del Fuago is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action. Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Del Fuago is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Del Fuago might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Del Fuago tries to hold on but Johnson postures up. Del Fuago is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea. Johnson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Del Fuago can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Johnson avoids the attempt from Del Fuago to control. Del Fuago is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Del Fuago throwing hammer fists to the chest of Johnson. What's that going to do exactly? Johnson raining down shots from the mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Del Fuago's face.
Johnson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Del Fuago is on top in guard.
Del Fuago loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson keeping full guard, as Del Fuago tries to pass. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Del Fuago passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Johnson wants to get back to full guard. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Del Fuago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Del Fuago throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Johnson to regain full guard. Johnson wants to sweep here but Del Fuago controlling him for the moment. Johnson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Del Fuago wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Johnson with the ground and pound but Del Fuago uses the opportunity to regain guard. Johnson postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson distracts Del Fuago with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Del Fuago trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Del Fuago is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Johnson rolls with it to try and escape but Del Fuago cranks on the arm and Johnson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Juarez Del Fuago!
