Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Glenn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Glenn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glenn closes the distance and pushes Nowak back into the cage.
Glenn breaks the clinch.
Nowak avoids a kick to the body.
Glenn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Glenn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Glenn looking to control and managing it successfully.
Glenn goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nowak is on top in guard.
Nowak trying to control but Glenn is working from the bottom.
Glenn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nowak's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Glenn with a flurry of punches that miss.
Glenn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nowak, up you get!
Glenn clinches up against the cage.
Glenn misses with a body punch.
Glenn breaks the clinch.
Nowak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glenn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nowak somewhat.
Glenn has Nowak up against the cage in a clinch.
Glenn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Glenn breaks the clinch.
Glenn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nowak tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Glenn is in Nowak's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Glenn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glenn wants to get up but he can't break Nowak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Glenn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nowak's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Glenn scoring with some ground and pound.
Nowak can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Glenn controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Alex Glenn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Nowak with a poor takedown
and Glenn counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Glenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nowak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glenn controlling from the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nowak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Glenn.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Glenn dominated that round.
That's time! Glenn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Glenn takes the fight into the clinch.

Glenn scores with a nice hook to the head.
Glenn manages to break the clinch.
Alex Glenn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Glenn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nowak misses with a takedown attempt - Glenn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nowak has his takedown stuffed
and Glenn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nowak!
Nowak is bucking up trying to escape but Glenn cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nowak is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Glenn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nowak is still in real trouble! Can Glenn finish him?
Glenn is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nowak has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nowak takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Glenn's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Glenn!
