The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasuri checks the leg kick nicely there.
Brasi slips under a jab.

Brasi rushes Vasuri and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Vasuri wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vasuri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brasi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brasi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brasi duly obliges.
Brasi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vasuri.
It looks like Luca Brasi has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vasuri throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Brasi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vasuri.
Vasuri tried to score with a low kick but Brasi checks it.
Vasuri misses with an uppercut. Brasi saw that one coming.
Vasuri throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Brasi!
Brasi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Vasuri misses with a lunging right hand
and Brasi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vasuri throws a series of punches but Brasi moves out of range.
Brasi moves in looking to clinch but Vasuri pushes him off.
Some wild striking there from Brasi.
Brasi connects with a right hand. Vasuri shakes it off.
Brasi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vasuri.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vasuri.
Vasuri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brasi circles away quickly and effectively.
A bone on bone clash there as Vasuri blocks the leg kick.
Vasuri wants to clinch up but Brasi keeps it at a distance.
Brasi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Vasuri tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vasuri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brasi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vasuri misses with a low kick.
Brasi pushes Vasuri up against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vasuri wants to get back to striking at distance but Brasi won't allow it.
Brasi pulls guard effortlessly.
Brasi is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Vasuri rolls with it to try and escape but Brasi cranks on the arm and Vasuri is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
