Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suzuki Pv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danza comes to the cage accompanied by Who's the Boss. Pv has chosen Got to have faith as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Danza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Suzuki Pv!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Pv shoots in and gets a takedown into Danza's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Danza keeping moving, preventing Pv from controlling successfully.
Danza wants to sweep but no luck.

Danza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pv is pushing down on Danza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Danza is fighting to maintain full guard but Pv has managed to sneak the leg through.

Danza makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Pv dives in and grabs Danza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Danza pushes down on Pv's head and hops out.
Pv wants to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Danza. Pv does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Danza shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Danza trying to control from half guard but Pv is working away.
Pv is looking to control Danza's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pv avoid being mounted?
Pv is looking to improve his position.

Danza is working for a kimura but Pv is defending it quite comfortably.
Pv slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pv working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Danza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Danza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Danza wants to control from the top but Pv keeps moving.
Pv not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pv looking to hit a scissor sweep but Danza is one step ahead there.
Danza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pv looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Danza working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Danza has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pv is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Danza trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Danza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Pv wants to sweep here but Danza controlling him for the moment.

Danza loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Danza trying to control but Pv is working from the bottom.

Pv has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Danza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Danza drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pv looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pv looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pv!
Danza is not content to let Pv control the position.
Danza is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pv connects with a decent elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pv cracks Danza with a big right hand but Danza just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Danza tries to bench press Pv off him but Pv keeps the position.
Pv wants to lay and pray for a moment but Danza keeps working.
Danza trying to remain calm as Pv controls from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suzuki Pv dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Pv walks into a jab.
A shot to the liver by Danza. Beautiful body shot.
Danza misses the body punch

and Pv counters with a nice double leg into side control. Danza won't be happy with that.
Suzuki Pv has got the better of the ground game so far.
Danza prevents Pv from improving position.
Pv misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Pv is working Danza over with some ground and pound from side control.


It looks like Tony Danza has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pv wants to control but Danza is keeping him busy.
Pv tries to move into full mount but can't pass Danza's legs.
Danza taking a bit of punishment here - Pv scoring with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danza manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pv has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Danza is working away from the top position though.
Pv gets back to full guard.
Danza postures up in Pv's guard and throws a big left but Pv blocks it.
Danza trying to control the position from guard on top but Pv is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pv has his foot on Danza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Danza works his way back into a safe position though.
Danza landing some decent shots from guard.

Pv is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Danza rolls with it to try and escape but Pv cranks on the arm and Danza is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Suzuki Pv!
After winning the bout, Suzuki Pv thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
