Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cruz's choice of entrance music: Deadmau5 - Ghosts and Stuff. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cruz really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
King misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cruz tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
King trying to control but Cruz is having none of it.
King tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King looking to finish Cruz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cruz!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King tries to get up but Cruz was controlling his body and he's reversed into guard.
Cruz wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Victor Cruz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.
Cruz misses with a takedown
and King counters with a nice body kick.
Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A jab from Cruz finds it's way through King's defenses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cruz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cruz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Good shot there by Cruz.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cruz.
Cruz lands a two punch combo.
Cruz looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
King is breathing heavily.
Cruz throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.
King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cruz's guard.
Cruz is looking to sinch up a triangle. King throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cruz's body to avoid the submission. Cruz has instead reached around King's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cruz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Victor Cruz!
Victor Cruz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
