Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhijing Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Schreiber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Zhijing Wang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zhijing Wang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phillip Schreiber! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Schreiber does no damage. Schreiber misses with a looping right. Wang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schreiber but Schreiber pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wang lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Schreiber tries to bum rush Wang with a series of wild strikes but Wang uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schreiber dips to his left and cracks Wang with an uppercut! Phillip Schreiber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schreiber blocks the body kick.
Schreiber lands with a cross. Schreiber moves out of range as Wang throws a body kick.
Schreiber throws an overhand right that lands on Wang's shoulder, as Wang tries to avoid the shot. Wang misses with a body kick. A combination from Schreiber does no damage. Wang showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Schreiber.
Schreiber throws a looping overhand right but Wang ducks down to avoid it. Schreiber takes a kick to the side of the head. Schreiber throws a right and a left that both miss. Schreiber dives in and scores a takedown into Wang's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Schreiber is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schreiber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schreiber with a flurry of punches that miss. Schreiber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wang swivels though and keeps the full guard. Schreiber stopping the sweep attempt from Wang. Schreiber advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schreiber wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wang, who protects the arm well. Schreiber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wang keeps working. A lull in the action here as Schreiber stalls from top position. Schreiber's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Schreiber working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schreiber tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Wang is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wang is working hard here to advance position. Wang is not content to let Schreiber control the position. The strikes coming from Schreiber are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Schreiber trying to control the position but Wang is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schreiber is trying to move to mount but Wang reverses beautifully and ends up in Schreiber's guard. Wang looking to pass the guard. Schreiber controls Wang momentarily but Wang frees himself. Wang advances to half guard. Schreiber wants to control but Wang is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wang seems to be looking for submissions.
Schreiber manages to get to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phillip Schreiber dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wang connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wang scores with a spinning back kick! Wang throws a wild body kick that Schreiber sees coming a mile off. Schreiber lands with a good body shot. Schreiber misses with a series of wild punches.

Wang connects with a solid leg kick. Wang tries to land a front kick but Schreiber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Schreiber thows a left - swing and a miss! Schreiber fails with a takedown attempt. Wang lands a high kick!
It looks like Phillip Schreiber has been cut. Wang connects with a high kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang lets loose with a powerful body kick. Schreiber will feel that in the morning. Zhijing Wang is winning the standup battle so far. Schreiber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wang moves out of range as Schreiber strikes. Wang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Schreiber is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wang defends well. Schreiber is breathing heavily. Wang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schreiber is keeping the position for now. Wang pushes down on Schreiber's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wang slips a nice elbow through Schreiber's hands, connecting with Schreiber's forehead. The fighters are battling for position here. Schreiber manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wang trying to control but Schreiber is working from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schreiber working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schreiber has his hands on Wang's head, controlling the position. Schreiber working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Schreiber keeping moving, preventing Wang from controlling successfully. Schreiber working for a triangle but Wang defends it easily.
Wang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schreiber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wang has managed to get both his arms back between Schreiber's legs - danger averted. Wang tries to free his leg and advance position but Schreiber is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang wants to control from the top but Schreiber keeps moving. Schreiber is trying to control the position but Wang postures up. Wang throws a big elbow that misses. Wang wants to pass the guard but Schreiber is keeping the position. Wang preventing the sweep. Wang looking to pass the guard. Phillip Schreiber has got the better of the ground game so far. Schreiber is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wang tries to free his leg and advance position but Schreiber is retaining full guard. Schreiber keeping moving, preventing Wang from controlling successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wang throws a half hearted mid kick. Good standup being displayed there by Schreiber as he connects with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Schreiber crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wang - the referee stops the clock and Schreiber gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wang. Schreiber manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Schreiber avoids the head kick by Wang.
Phillip Schreiber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Schreiber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wang throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Schreiber's head. Schreiber thows a left - swing and a miss! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schreiber sprawls well. Schreiber wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wang gets slowly back to his feet. Schreiber walks into a left hand. Schreiber darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Schreiber swinging wildly here.
Schreiber takes a swing at Wang's ribcage but misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A lazy left from Wang finds it's target. Wang goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schreiber. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zhijing Wang dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Phillip Schreiber's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Wang shoots in but Schreiber avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schreiber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wang slaps away a takedown attempt from Schreiber, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Schreiber drives through with a takedown into Wang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Schreiber postures up in Wang's guard and throws a big left but Wang blocks it. Schreiber trying to control the position from guard on top but Wang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schreiber might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wang kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Schreiber throws a sloppy strike and Wang has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Schreiber is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Wang!
