Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Broph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Broph lands.
Darwin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Broph stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Darwin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Broph swivels and escapes.
Broph throws an overhand right that lands on Darwin's shoulder, as Darwin tries to avoid the shot.

Broph motions for Darwin to come forward. Broph throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Darwin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Broph finds it's way round the side to connect with Darwin's head.

Broph tries to close the distance and clinch but Darwin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Broph shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Darwin throws a hook to the side of Broph's head but Broph sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Broph shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Broph showed some decent athleticism there.

Darwin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Broph's guard.

Darwin throws a strike but Broph rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Darwin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Broph!

Darwin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Broph has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Darwin but great work by Broph.

Broph has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Darwin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Broph yanks on the arm and Darwin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Broph.
