Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Linas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Lescott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Linas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Lescott! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lescott misses with a series of wild punches.
Linas tries to clinch up. Lescott drives through with a takedown into Linas's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Linas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lescott is controlling him. Linas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lescott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Linas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lescott on the ground. Lescott stops Linas from standing up. Lescott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lescott prevents Linas from getting back to his feet. Lescott wants to pass the guard but Linas is keeping the position. Linas wants to stand but Lescott is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lescott wants to control from the top but Linas keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lescott thows a body shot but no joy. Lescott keeps the fight on the outside. Lescott fails with a takedown attempt. Lescott tries to clinch but Linas is having none of it. Linas moves out of range as Lescott throws a body kick.

Lescott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Linas circles away quickly and effectively. Lescott shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Linas is trying to defend but Lescott finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lescott stands up out of the half guard. Linas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lescott keeps the fight on the outside. Lescott swats away the attempt to clinch by Linas. Lescott shoots for a double leg takedown but Linas sprawls well. He's pushed Lescott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Linas tries to clinch up but Lescott circles away and keeps his distance. Lescott on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lescott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Linas was well out of range. Poor timing from Lescott. Linas moves in looking to clinch but Lescott pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Linas finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Lescott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Linas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ben Linas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Lescott. Lescott looks gassed! Linas lands a body shot.
Lescott throws a body punch but Linas moves out of range. Linas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Linas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lescott counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Linas gets a clinch. Linas misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lescott.

Lescott tries to score a body lock takedown but Linas shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Linas effectively controlling the action here. A frustrated look appears on Lescott's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lescott on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Linas lands a knee to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Linas tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lescott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Linas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lescott shoots in and bounces Linas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Linas preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lescott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lescott is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lescott trying to control but Linas is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lescott pushing down on Linas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Linas looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lescott in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Linas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lescott!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Michael Lescott! Michael Lescott very nearly forgot to thank Torment Fightwear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
