Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mace Baars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spiff Bennigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baars throws a big shot that misses.
Baars fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bennigan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baars pinned against the cage. Baars gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bennigan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baars.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bennigan in particular looking to stall.

Bennigan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baars to score with a decent uppercut.

Baars feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mace Baars.
I think Bennigan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
