Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Slayer - Jesus Saves. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, NJ Mcgarry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgarry misses with a takedown attempt
and Sanchez counters with a nice leg kick.

Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcgarry has escaped the position, nice work there.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sanchez lands a few punches from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

NJ Mcgarry's cut is getting worse.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mcgarry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mcgarry is trying to get back to half guard.
Sanchez advances to mount.

Mcgarry has left one of his arms exposed and Sanchez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mcgarry screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jesus Sanchez!
