PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angelus Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed has chosen Raised By Wolves as his entrance music. The key to victory for Wyatt Earp has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wyatt Earp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angelus Creed!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed shoots in looking for a takedown but Earp manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Creed's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Creed looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Creed gets a double leg takedown into Earp's guard.
Earp wants to stand and escape but Creed is having none of it.
Creed throwing strikes from guard but Earp blocks nicely.
Creed prevents Earp from getting back to his feet.

Earp scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Creed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Earp.
Earp closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Earp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Creed circles away quickly and effectively.

Earp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Earp stalks Creed and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Creed's face. Creed staggers backwards, shaken.
Earp throws a right hand that Creed ducks under and follows up with a left that Creed also avoids with ease.

Earp goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Angelus Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Earp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Creed stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Creed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Earp circles away.

Creed is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Earp sees it coming and defends easily.

Earp on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Earp tries to get out of the position.

Angelus Creed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Creed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Earp was covering up waiting for the punch and Creed finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Earp wants to stand and escape but Creed is having none of it.

Creed throws a strike but Earp rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wyatt Earp has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Creed has a takedown stuffed.
Earp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Creed doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Earp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Creed throws an elbow but Earp slips to the side and avoids it well.

Creed creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Earp sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Earp takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

A very excited looking Angelus Creed rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
