Slaughter's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Crown - World Below. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter looks to score with a jab to the body but Mulroney is just out of range.

and Slaughter counters with a three punch combo that has Mulroney backing up. Mulroney nods at Slaughter to acknowledge the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mulroney enables Slaughter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mulroney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
