Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill has chosen Kiss - Detroit Rock City as his entrance music. The key to victory for Chris Stone has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Stone! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, George Hill! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Hill looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stone darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hill avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stone throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hill attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hill wants to clinch up but Stone keeps it at a distance. Hill fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Stone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Stone breaks from the clinch.
Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hill shoots in for a double leg but Stone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hill stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stone. A chopping leg kick lands by Stone. Hill closes the distance and pushes Stone back into the ropes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A frustrated look appears on Stone's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Stone obliges. Stone looking to throw knees to the head but Hill is blocking nicely.
Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hill has him pressed against the ropes. Hill scores with a shoulder strike. Hill blocks a body shot from Stone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stone lands a head kick!
Stone with a hook. Stone moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off. Stone throws a head kick that misses. Stone stuffs the takedown. Stone tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Hill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chris Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Hill. No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hill is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stone's half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Stone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stone. Stone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hill! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hill is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to take his opponent's back but Hill doesn't allow it. Stone trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stone get's back to his feet. Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Stone throws an overhand right that lands on Hill's shoulder, as Hill tries to avoid the shot. Stone leaves Hill with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hill. Hill has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stone. Stone is looking to clinch. No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stone thows a body kick. Hill tries to catch it but that hurt him. Hill throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Hill finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stone has a closed guard, preventing Hill from standing up. Hill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stone wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hill is now in half guard. Stone trying to control from the bottom.

Stone kicks off Hill and gets to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone misses with a straight left. Hill shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Hill keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hill gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hill tries for a takedown. No joy.

Stone throws the kick towards the body but Hill avoids it. Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hill somewhat. Stone delivers a nice body kick. Hill throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This has been an exciting period of action! Hill is looking to clinch. Chris Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hill has a takedown stuffed. Stone missing with a left hand there. Hill was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stone throws a head kick that misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hill is defended easily by Stone. Hill has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Stone. Hill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hill defends it easily. Stone will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hill gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hill rushes Stone and presses him up against the ropes. Stone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Stone tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hill's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hill's back! Hill is trying to get back to his feet but Stone has full control of the position and if anything, Hill has just worked his way into a worse spot. Stone is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hill won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Stone off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 5, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chris Stone! Chris Stone is the new welterweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Chris Stone thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
