The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jahovavich gets a takedown into half guard.

Jahovavich is trying to work for a kimura but TanHer is defending well.
Jahovavich is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. TanHer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jahovavich.
TanHer tries to roll over but Jahovavich keeps him under control.
TanHer is trying to stand up here but Jahovavich is controlling him well.
TanHer won't allow Jahovavich to pass to mount.
TanHer flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
TanHer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

A left and a right from TanHer both land. Nice combination.
Jahovavich avoids the head kick by TanHer.
TanHer moves into the clinch successfully.

TanHer lands a hook that snaps the head of Jahovavich backwards.
Jahovavich tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. TanHer smiles and moves away.
TanHer lands with a nice combination. Jahovavich backs away looking to recover.
Jahovavich dodges the punch combination from TanHer.
Jahovavich closes the distance and clinches up with TanHer, looking for a takedown. Jahovavich pushes TanHer against the cage but TanHer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timmy Jahovavich. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jahovavich doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
TanHer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jahovavich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
TanHer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jahovavich.
TanHer stuffs the takedown attempt from Jahovavich. Jahovavich gets slowly back to his feet.
TanHer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jahovavich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. TanHer tries to avoid it but Jahovavich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag TanHer to the ground. TanHer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
TanHer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
TanHer throws a leg kick but Jahovavich sees it coming and checks it nicely.
TanHer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jahovavich.
A nice inside leg kick there by TanHer. That's going to slow Jahovavich down.
TanHer throws a right hand that Jahovavich ducks under and follows up with a left that Jahovavich also avoids with ease.
Jahovavich looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? TanHer is fending him off so far but Jahovavich persists. Nope, TanHer circles away and we're back to standing.
Jahovavich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from TanHer.
Jahovavich takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Jahovavich shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jahovavich postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. TanHer looks a forlorn figure.
Jahovavich is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. TanHer is in real trouble.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
TanHer can't escape the position.
TanHer breaks Jahovavich's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
TanHer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jahovavich looking for a sweep. Not yet Jahovavich, not yet.
TanHer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jahovavich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. TanHer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jahovavich controls TanHer momentarily but TanHer frees himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
TanHer stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Jahovavich has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! TanHer manages to get his head free but now Jahovavich has transitioned to an armbar! TanHer grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jahovavich! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
