Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agapito Hampaslupa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Agapito Hampaslupa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Polo! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampaslupa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Polo's head. Polo cracks Hampaslupa with a big right hand and Hampaslupa goes down!
It looks like Agapito Hampaslupa has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Polo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Polo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hampaslupa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Polo controls the pace. Polo postures up in Hampaslupa's guard and throws a big left but Hampaslupa blocks it. Polo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. A lull in the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polo lands an elbow. Polo lands a nice forearm strike. Polo scores with punches from side control. Polo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hampaslupa is being controlled here. Polo is putting a hurting on Hampaslupa here, landing some big shots from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. It looks like Polo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Polo in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Polo scoring with punches and elbows. Polo slows the pace down. Polo is trying to get an arm triangle but Hampaslupa is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hampaslupa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Polo staying calm. Polo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Polo trying to control the position but Hampaslupa is working away. Hampaslupa is looking to reverse the position. Polo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Polo in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hampaslupa is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
