The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slick defending well as MacLeod loads up on a big left hand.

MacLeod stalks Slick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Slick's face. Slick staggers backwards, shaken.
Slick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says MacLeod as he avoids it easily.

Slick takes one to the chin there.
Slick throws out a leg kick but MacLeod moves out of range and Slick only half commits.
Slick tries a head kick but it misses.
MacLeod lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
MacLeod throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slick counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. MacLeod is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Connor MacLeod is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
MacLeod's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! MacLeod scrambles back to his feet.
Slick is looking to score with low kicks.

Slick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and MacLeod counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Slick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacLeod tries to avoid it but Slick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacLeod to the ground. MacLeod escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slick throws an overhand right that lands on MacLeod's shoulder, as MacLeod tries to avoid the shot.
MacLeod stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and MacLeod wants it to stay on the feet.
Oil Slick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacLeod will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
MacLeod scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Nice uppercut lands for MacLeod. That snapped Slick's head back.
Slick uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Slick takes a swing at MacLeod's ribcage but misses.
Slick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MacLeod avoids it really well and circles away.
Connor MacLeod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oil Slick.
