Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertolone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Dwyer as he avoids it easily.
O Dwyer connects with a looping right hand.
Bertolone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bertolone there as he acknowledges the shot.
O Dwyer rushes Bertolone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

A short uppercut from O Dwyer.
O Dwyer lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bertolone or not.
A quick uppercut on the inside from O Dwyer.

O Dwyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
O Dwyer misses with a two punch combination.
Bertolone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows O Dwyer to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bertolone is trying to control the position but O Dwyer postures up.
O Dwyer distracts Bertolone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Dwyer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bertolone can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as O Dwyer controls the pace.
Bertolone is trying to keep O Dwyer in close.
O Dwyeris looking to pass into half guard but Bertolone pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bertolone is in guard.
O Dwyer wants to sweep but no luck.
Bertolone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
O Dwyer keeping moving, preventing Bertolone from controlling successfully.
Bertolone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bertolone is fighting to break O Dwyer's control of his arms but O Dwyer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bertolone lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Bertolone drops back, looking for a kneebar! O Dwyer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. O Dwyer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from O Dwyer!
O Dwyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bertolone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
O Dwyer working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bertolone manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bertolone is looking to take a break and control but O Dwyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
O Dwyer has his hands clasped together around Bertolone's back. He's all about the action.
Bertolone throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
O Dwyer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bertolone is working away from the top position though.

Bertolone takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bertolone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so O Dwyer is just riding it out for now. Bertolone eventually gives up the hold.

Bertolone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bertolone seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. O Dwyer is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
