Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Aziz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esta me Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aziz comes into the arena with Lowkey- Long Live Palestine blaring out of the sound system. Esta me Dinero will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kareem Aziz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esta me Dinero!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dinero gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Aziz manages to get to full guard.

Dinero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Aziz gets control of Dinero's arms and successfully pulls guard. Aziz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Aziz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dinero stacks Aziz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dinero!

Dinero seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aziz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aziz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dinero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kareem Aziz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Esta me Dinero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Aziz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dinero. That one must have hurt.

Aziz fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Aziz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dinero smiles and moves away.
Nice straight punches there by Dinero. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dinero.

Dinero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aziz, pushing him back against the cage.
Dinero is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Dinero lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dinero is working for a kimura but Aziz is defending it quite comfortably.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dinero wants to pass the guard but Aziz is defending well.
Aziz trying to hold on to Dinero's head to control him but Dinero postures up.

Dinero is controlling the pace.

Dinero has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Aziz defend it? Dinero steps over the head and cranks it - Aziz is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dinero!
