The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouncer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laden fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bouncer to the ground. Laden is now in Bouncer's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Laden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Laden is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bouncer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Laden pushes down on Bouncer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bouncer is trying to maintain the position but Laden is very close to passing his half guard.
Laden passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bouncer!

Bouncer is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Laden throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bouncer has his hands clasped together but Laden breaks the hold and Bouncer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Laden!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jack Laden!
