Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Notch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Popise Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sean Notch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Popise Black!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Notch shoots in and bounces Black off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Notch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Black looks gassed!
Notch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Notch throws a big elbow that misses.
Notch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Notch throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Black works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Black can't keep his opponent in guard - Notch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Notch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Notch stands up and beckons Black to join him on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Notch or perhaps it was just good defense by Black which made him look bad.

Notch gets the takedown into side control.
Black is looking for a sweep.
Notch has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Black!
Black wants to control but Notch is having none of it.
Notch controlling his opponent.
Notch trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Notch content just to control the position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sean Notch.
Nice sprawl there from Black as Notch shoots in.
Notch gets a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Notch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Notch fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Notch.
Black stuffs the takedown attempt from Notch. Notch gets slowly back to his feet.
Notch throws a combination. Black tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Black leaves Notch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Notch stuns Black with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Notch closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. Notch pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Notch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Black displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Notch.
Notch has his takedown stuffed
and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Black dives in and grabs Notch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Notch pushes down on Black's head and hops out.
Black leaves Notch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck for Notch with that takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Notch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Notch dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Notch shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Black as he jumps to the side.
Notch shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Notch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Notch lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A jab from Black misses.
Notch moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Notch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Black gets the takedown into side control.
Notch struggling a bit here.
Black looks up at the clock and then as Notch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Black smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

You can see the frustration on Notch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Notch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Black's best efforts.
Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Notch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Black is trying to work for a kimura but Notch is defending well.
Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Notch keeps working.
Notch regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Notch wants to sweep here but Black controlling him for the moment.
Notch looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Black is defending well. Notch quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Black has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Notch celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
