Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Laskownik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonny Chapman! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laskownik fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chapman throws a right hand that Laskownik ducks under and follows up with a left that Laskownik also avoids with ease. Chapman throws a right and a left that both miss. Laskownik is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Chapman. Chapman clinches up with Laskownik and pushes him back against the cage. Chapman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Chapman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Laskownik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Laskownik looking to pass the guard. Laskownik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chapman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Laskownik has managed to get both his arms back between Chapman's legs - danger averted. Chapman being controlled here, momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chapman looking for a guillotine here but Laskownik defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Laskownik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chapman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chapman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Laskownik defends well. Chapman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Laskownik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Laskownik wants to control from the top but Chapman keeps moving. Laskownik is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Laskownik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chapman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chapman looking for a guillotine here but Laskownik defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Laskownik looking to pass the guard. Chapman working for a triangle but Laskownik defends it easily.
Chapman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Laskownik defends it easily. Chapman being controlled here, momentarily. Chapman keeping moving, preventing Laskownik from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Laskownik sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chapman's guard. Laskownik is pressing down on Chapman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chapman is holding on for now. Laskownik is keen to just control but Chapman is a slippery customer. Chapman looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Laskownik is looking to take a break and control but Chapman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Laskownik thows a huge punch but Chapman dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Laskownik works his foot free and advances to mount. Chapman looks gassed! Laskownik lands a nice shot to the head. Chapman really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chapman is squirming around, avoiding Laskownik's attempts to control the action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bob Laskownik will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Chapman stuffs the takedown. Some wild striking there from Chapman.
Chapman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chapman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laskownik. Chapman misses with a double jab.
Laskownik misses with a takedown attempt and Chapman counters with a two punch combo. Chapman cracks Laskownik with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Laskownik is defended easily by Chapman. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Laskownik. That's going to take a lot out of him. Laskownik tries to clinch but Chapman moves out of range. Chapman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Laskownik eats them both and turns towards Chapman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Laskownik is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Laskownik tries to clinch but Chapman moves out of range. Oh Laskownik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Laskownik is looking to clinch but Chapman is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Chapman as Laskownik shoots in. Laskownik seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman misses with the combination.
Sloppy strikes from Laskownik. Those never looked like landing. Chapman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Laskownik shoots in and drives through. Chapman sprawls well. Chapman lands a left and a right that send Laskownik crashing to the mat, dazed. Chapman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laskownik misses with a wild combination.
Bob Laskownik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chapman misses with a few strikes there.
Chapman throws a monster overhand right that drops Laskownik! Chapman follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonny Chapman!
