Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Sapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sapp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tyson is in Sapp's guard.
Tyson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sapp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson's guard.
Sapp scoring with some ground and pound.
Sapp slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sapp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sapp is working Tyson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sapp is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sapp is pushing down on Tyson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyson is fighting to maintain full guard but Sapp has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sapp is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Sapp winds up and cracks Tyson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sapp stands up and beckons Tyson to join him on the feet.

Sapp rushes Tyson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sapp breaks from the clinch.

Sapp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyson, pushing him back against the cage.

Sapp works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sapp controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Sapp slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sapp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sapp is working Tyson over with some ground and pound from side control.
Sapp lands a few punches from side control.
Sapp lands an elbow.

Sapp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Tyson is rocked!
Sapp looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Tyson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
