The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws the kick towards the body but Sumrall avoids it.
Hunter looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Sumrall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunter.

Sumrall paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hunter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sumrall.

Sumrall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hunter.

Sumrall lands a big head kick that sends Hunter tumbling to the mat! Sumrall takes a step backwards and waves Hunter back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sumrall might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hunter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Sumrall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sumrall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hunter scores with a nice right hand.
Hunter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sumrall connects with a jab.
Hunter tries to land a front kick but Sumrall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hunter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sumrall blocks a low kick nicely.

Hunter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sumrall can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sumrall thows a body kick. Hunter tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Sumrall is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hunter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Hunter takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hunter throws a jab but it's blocked by Sumrall.

No joy there for Hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sumrall throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it.

Hunter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sumrall checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter throws a shot from downtown. Sumrall moves away and avoids it.
Sumrall moves out of range of the body kick from Hunter.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Hunter might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Sumrall cracks the inside of Hunter's front leg.
Sumrall lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hunter will feel that in the morning.
Sumrall scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hunter in his tracks.

Hunter has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Hunter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oooooh!!! Sumrall has knocked Hunter down with a huge combo! Sumrall steps away and waves a wobbly Hunter back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hunter is rocked!
Sumrall circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hunter to the canvas! Hunter doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Sumrall keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
