Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between joel edmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jung Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). joel edmond had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jung Hoi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

edmond throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hoi blocks it with crossed arms.

Hoi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
edmond breaks the clinch.
Hoi keeps the fight on the outside.
Hoi throws a chopping leg kick but edmond manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Hoi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hoi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. edmond gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

edmond has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hoi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! edmond is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hoi pulls down on the head and he's put edmond to sleep! This one is all over!
