Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agni Kapila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Priest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kapila's entrance music is SGX - Composer. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Agni Kapila! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Priest! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kapila shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Priest's guard. Priest trying to keep a closed guard but Kapila is proving a slippery customer.
Kapila throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Priest works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kapila loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kapila working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Priest's head. Kapila wants to pass the guard but Priest is keeping the position. Kapila throws an elbow that misses. Priest uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kapila's guard. Nice move by Priest! Priest controlling from the top position. Priest postures up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kapila is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kapila keeping full guard, as Priest tries to pass. Priest won't allow Kapila to sweep him here. Priest trying to control the position from guard on top but Kapila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Johnny Priest. A left lands for Priest.
It looks like Agni Kapila has been cut. Priest ducks under a wild hook from Kapila. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Priest.
Kapila swings for the body but Priest moves out of range.
Kapila closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Priest's guard. Priest is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Priest avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Priest is trying to keep Kapila in close.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Priest holds on and takes a little breather. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kapila postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Priest was stalling too much, according to the referee. Priest fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kapila. Priest feints and then cracks Kapila's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kapila down. Priest keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kapila. Kapila checks a low kick from Priest. An inside leg kick lands from Priest. Priest fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kapila has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kapila shoots in and drives through. Priest sprawls well. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kapila!
Kapila misses with an uppercut
and Priest counters with a good low kick that Kapila was not able to check. Kapila is breathing heavily. Priest lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kapila's sensitive parts. Kapila rushes Priest and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good body shot from Priest.
Priest lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Priest looking to stall.

Priest lands with a short head shot on the inside. Priest lands an elbow inside.
Agni Kapila's cut is getting worse. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Priest. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Priest lands an elbow inside that Kapila shrugs off.
Agni Kapila's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Priest lands a nice shot to the body. Priest gets through Kapila's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jeez, Agni Kapila's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Priest lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kapila takes an elbow to the temple.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Agni Kapila's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johnny Priest! Johnny Priest is the new heavyweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Johnny Priest thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
