Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Key comes to the cage accompanied by EYELID - REGENERATE. Smith has chosen Wild International as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Smith scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Smith thows a left - swing and a miss! Smith is looking to clinch. A big left from Key misses. Key swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Key checks a leg kick. Key works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Key.
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Key which made him look bad. Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Key.
Key is looking to chop away at Smith's legs. Key cracks Smith with an open hand slap. Nice uppercut lands for Key. That snapped Smith's head back.
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Key. Key fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smith shoots in for a double leg but Key sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Smith shoots in for a takedown but Key shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Key lands with a thumping leg kick.

Key fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it. Smith throws a nice looking combination but Key bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but Key is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Key blocking the ground and pound attempt from Smith.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Key's temple. Smith throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Smith tries to pass the half guard into mount. Key knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Smith is keen to just control but Key is a slippery customer. Smith not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith thows a huge punch but Key dodges it nicely.

Key blocking the ground and pound attempt from Smith. Smith with the ground and pound but Key uses the opportunity to regain guard. Key is controlling Smith's posture. Smith looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Key controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself. Smith throwing strikes but missing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Smith checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Smith throws a hook to the side of Key's head but Key sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Smith missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Smith throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Key to regain full guard. Smith working some strikes from top position. Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Key works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Smith working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Smith wants to control from the top but Key keeps moving. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Key avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith trying to control but Key is working from the bottom. Key utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heath Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Smith is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Key holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Smith not landing any meaningful shots this time. Smith misses with a head shot. Key uses the momentum to regain guard. Smith throws a strike but Key rolls with it and manages to sweep. That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith is pushing Key's head away, looking to escape. Key manages to hold on to the position though. Heath Smith has got the better of the ground game so far. Smith tries to buck Key off but Key is having none of it. Smith is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Key wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy. Key is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Smith is trying to get back to his feet.

Smith is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Key scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Key lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Don Key is winning the standup battle so far. Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Key avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Key fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Key throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Don Key had his way with Heath Smith in that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Key's corner calls for a 1-2. Key obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. That kick from Key tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on. Smith misses with a low kick.

Key fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range. Key displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith. Smith walks into a stiff left hand from Key. Nice sprawl there from Key as Smith shoots in. Don Key has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heath Smith. Smith is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Smith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Key takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A decent looking cross lands there for Key. Don Key has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Heath Smith is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Smith is looking to advance position but Key has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Key raining down shots from the mount! Key with shots to the head and body - Smith looks very uncomfortable down there. Key landing punches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith tries to hold on but Key pushes him away. Smith is looking to get to half guard. Key thowing shots but they're missing.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Key showed his dominance in that final round. I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
