Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Colon circles away.
Colon throws a good cross that connects.
Garcia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Colon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Colon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garcia uses his free foot to push down on Colon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Colon.
Garcia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Colon is looking to escape.
