Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lomfor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jim Lomfor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bam Bam! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Bam. Bam swinging wildly here.
Lomfor throws a head kick that misses. Bam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Bam Bam has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lomfor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lomfor wants to control from the top but Bam keeps moving. Bam avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lomfor throwing strikes from guard but Bam blocks nicely. Lomfor throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bam avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lomfor throwing strikes but missing. Lomfor working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lomfor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bam works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bam keeping moving, preventing Lomfor from controlling successfully. Lomfor postures up in Bam's guard and throws a big left but Bam blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bam looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lomfor passes into side control.
Lomfor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bam looks gassed! Bam tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lomfor tries to score with some ground and pound. Bam controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lomfor landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bam on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Lomfor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lomfor working the ground and pound from side control. An elbow from Lomfor crashes against the mat.
Lomfor in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Lomfor throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Lomfor trying to control the action but Bam is working from the bottom. Lomfor in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lomfor in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. You can see the frustration on Bam's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lomfor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bam keeps working. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bam can do anything to dispel that myth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bam avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lomfor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Lomfor dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bam Bam's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lomfor fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lomfor misses with an uppercut. Lomfor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lomfor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lomfor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bam. Bam bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lomfor's head backwards. Lomfor misses with an uppercut. Bam saw that one coming. Lomfor missing with a left hand there. Bam was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. No joy there for Bam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lomfor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lomfor tries to clinch but Bam moves out of range. Jim Lomfor is winning the standup battle so far. Lomfor swats away the attempt to clinch by Bam. Lomfor misses with a straight left. Bam Bam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lomfor throws a front kick aimed at Bam's knee but Bam avoids it well. Lomfor misses with the combination.
Bam slips a jab from Lomfor. Bam shoots in for a takedown but Lomfor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bam is breathing heavily. A punch lands to the side of Bam 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lomfor lands a knee to the head.

Bam is rocked! Lomfor stalling against the cage.
Bam is still on wobbly legs! Can Lomfor finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lomfor lands a damaging elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lomfor is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lomfor. Bam takes an elbow to the temple. Clinched against the cage, Lomfor lands a big elbow that drops Bam! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Bam is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Lomfor!
