Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itsik Obas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercer comes to the cage accompanied by Kid CuDi - Wylin Cuz I'm Young. Obas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Perfect Gentelman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay Mercer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Itsik Obas!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obas is looking to clinch.
Obas wants to clinch.
Obas takes the fight into the clinch.
Mercer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obas avoids the body shot from Mercer.
Obas wants to clinch
and Mercer counters with a left and a right that stings Obas.
Obas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Obas is looking to clinch.
Obas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mercer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Obas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Obas wants to clinch but Mercer slips to the side
and Mercer counters with an outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Obas tries a head kick but it misses.
Obas tries to clinch but Mercer moves out of range.
Obas looks to clinch
and Mercer counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mercer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Obas's calf.
Mercer circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mercer throws a shot to the body.
Mercer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Obass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Obas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Obas ducks under a wild hook from Mercer.
Obas wants to clinch up but Mercer keeps it at a distance.
Obas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Obas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mercer's head.
It looks like Clay Mercer has been cut.
Obas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mercer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mercer takes a swing at Obas's ribcage but misses.
Obas moves out of range as Mercer strikes.
Mercer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mercer dips to his left and cracks Obas with an uppercut!
It looks like Itsik Obas has been cut.
Mercer feints and then cracks Obas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Obas down.
Obas slips under a jab.
Obas takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mercer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Obas doesn't manage to clinch there - Mercer circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Decent striking displayed by Mercer there.
Mercer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mercer throws a series of punches but Obas moves out of range.
Mercer lands a slapping body shot.
Mercer with a jab.
Mercer avoids the head kick by Obas.
Mercer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mercer scores with a one two! Obas had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Obas is rocked!
Obas tries to clinch but Mercer moves away
and Mercer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Obas is still on wobbly legs! Can Mercer finish him?
Mercer is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Obas looks gassed!
Mercer scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Look low, kick high! Mercer uses the oldest trick in the book to send Obas tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Mercer is absolutely delighted - when Obas wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Clay Mercer!
Clay Mercer decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
