The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Couture misses with a jab, cross combination.

It looks like Sergio Moraes has been cut.
Moraes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Couture gets caught flat footed, as Moraes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Moraes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Couture is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Couture has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
