Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mulligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dana White has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Mulligan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Mulligan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dana White! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White closes the distance and pushes Mulligan back into the cage. Mulligan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! White can't get the takedown.
A right handed body shot lands from White.
White tries to break the clinch but Mulligan is controlling the position. Mulligan can't get the takedown.
The referee is keeping an eye on White - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mulligan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. White pulls guard. White wants to sweep but no luck. White pulls Mulligan in close to his closed guard and prevents Mulligan from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mulligan drops back, looking for a kneebar! White looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. White looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from White! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mulligan tries to buck White off but White is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. White stands up and beckons Mulligan to his feet. Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Mulligan on that attempt. White shoots in looking for a takedown. Mulligan tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mulligan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mulligan tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mulligan somewhat. Mulligan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mulligan walks into a left hand. Mulligan shoots in but no luck this time. Frank Mulligan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mulligan fails with a takedown attempt. White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mulligan tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mulligan to the ground. Mulligan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White has a takedown stuffed. Mulligan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dana White will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

White tries to escape but Mulligan is in control. Mulligan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, White has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mulligan but great work by White.

Mulligan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. White knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften White for a finish. This has been an exciting period of action! Mulligan avoiding White 's attempts to control his hands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
