Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carver McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nelson Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Carver McNulty! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNulty shoots in for a takedown but Reyes shows good takedown defense. A head kick misses from Reyes. Reyes steps into range and cracks McNulty with a monster punch that buckles his knees! McNulty flops backwards and Reyes dives into his guard looking to finish!
McNulty looking to sweep here. No luck so far. McNulty keeping full guard, as Reyes tries to pass. Reyes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McNulty is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reyes, into his guard. McNulty preventing the sweep. Reyes trying to keep a closed guard but McNulty is proving a slippery customer.
McNulty pushing down on Reyes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. McNulty prevents Reyes from improving his position. Reyes wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. McNulty working Reyes over with strikes. Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McNulty trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom. McNulty controlling the pace. McNulty moves into full mount! Reyes won't be happy about that! Reyes is working to get back to half guard.
McNulty is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reyes is surviving well by controlling McNulty's body position as best he can. Reyes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Reyes is pressing down on McNulty's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. McNulty wants to control from the top but Reyes keeps moving. Reyes working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNulty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reyes keeping moving, preventing McNulty from controlling successfully. McNulty working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Reyes's head. McNulty stands and throws Reyes's legs to the side, diving into side control. Reyes wants to get back to his feet but McNulty drags him back down. McNulty landing strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNulty cracks Reyes with a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Reyes is trying to escape the mount.
McNulty breaks from Reyes's wrist control and lands an elbow. McNulty jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Reyes is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Reyes and McNulty has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Reyes is looking to reverse the position. Check out the look on McNulty's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Reyes is looking for a sweep. McNulty working the ground and pound from side control. McNulty tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. McNulty looks gassed! McNulty wants to control but Reyes is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes can't do much from the bottom here. Reyes is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McNulty asserts his dominance and retains side control. McNulty lands an elbow. McNulty tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McNulty has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McNulty swings around for an armbar but Reyes sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McNulty's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nelson Reyes will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
McNulty avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reyes throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as McNulty stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Reyes follows into mount!
McNulty is rocked! McNulty is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Reyes has taken his back.
Reyes patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? McNulty breaks Reyes's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
McNulty tries to free his leg and advance position but Reyes is retaining full guard. Reyes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McNulty passes Reyes's left leg - he's now in half guard. McNulty prevents Reyes from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McNulty wants to work for an arm triangle but Reyes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. McNulty wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reyes keeps working. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McNulty in particular looking to stall. McNulty scoring with strikes to the body and head. Reyes wants to improve his position but McNulty is controlling well.
McNulty lands with a punch from half guard. McNulty seems to be working for a kimura but Reyes defends the submission attempt. McNulty is looking to take a break and control but Reyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McNulty looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McNulty wants to take a breather but Reyes is having none of it. McNulty looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McNulty throwing shots but Reyes is blocking nicely. Reyes moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McNulty content to stall in guard here. McNulty postures up.
McNulty won't allow Reyes to sweep him here. McNulty controlling from the top position. McNulty is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Reyes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Reyes has escaped and now he's on top! McNulty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reyes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes drops back looking for a leg! McNulty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McNulty manages to kick Reyes off! Reyes jumps back into McNulty's guard. McNulty is looking for a triangle but Reyes pushes his legs off easily.
Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but McNulty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McNulty is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nelson Reyes will probably get the nod. That's time! Reyes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Reyes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McNulty shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reyes pinned against the cage. Reyes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McNulty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Reyes trying to control the position.
McNulty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reyes swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reyes working for a triangle but McNulty defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. McNulty scoring with some ground and pound. Reyes working a defensive guard here.
McNulty works a leg free and moves into half guard. McNulty takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Reyes tries to roll over but McNulty keeps him under control. McNulty trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom. McNulty lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. McNulty lands strikes from half guard. McNulty has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McNulty passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Reyes! Carver McNulty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNulty has control of Reyes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reyes regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Carver McNulty has got the better of the ground game so far. McNulty prevents Reyes from getting the reversal. McNulty quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for McNulty but it's paid off an Reyes is forced to tap! Nice work by McNulty.
