Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack McNabb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew McRaylen! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McRaylen forces McNabb back against the cage and clinches. McNabb is trying to force a seperation but McRaylen has the dominant position. McNabb is trying to break the clinch but McRaylen is controlling him. McRaylen tries to pull guard but McNabb won't allow it.
McRaylen manages to pull guard.
McNabb trying to control the position from guard on top but McRaylen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McNabb wants to get up but he can't break McRaylen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNabb won't allow McRaylen to sweep him here. McNabb controlling from the top position.
We're going to have a standup here because Jack McNabb wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. McNabb throws a right and a left that McRaylen avoids nicely. McRaylen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. McRaylen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. McRaylen is looking to take a break and control but McNabb is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McRaylen tries to stand but his arm is trapped. McRaylen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. McRaylen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McNabb's head. It looks like McRaylen is going to stand back up.
McNabb is looking for a sweep. McRaylen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McNabb is trying to stand.
McNabb tries to roll over but McRaylen keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McRaylen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. McRaylen wants to take a breather but McNabb is having none of it. McNabb wants to get back to his feet.
McNabb is staying active underneath McRaylen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from McRaylen. McRaylen is looking to stall here but McNabb recovers full guard. McRaylen trying to control but McNabb is working from the bottom. McNabb pulls McRaylen in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McRaylen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McNabb's head. McRaylen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McRaylen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McNabb is controlling McRaylen's posture. McRaylen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McRaylen postures up in McNabb's guard and throws a big left but McNabb blocks it. McRaylen is looking to work some ground and pound but McNabb has wrist control. McRaylen tries to stand but McNabb is controlling from the bottom. McNabb is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jack McNabb has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. McNabb leaves McRaylen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McNabb stuffs the takedown attempt from McRaylen. McRaylen gets slowly back to his feet. Jack McNabb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew McRaylen. McRaylen shoots for a double leg takedown but McNabb sprawls well. He's pushed McRaylen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McNabb looks to land a combination but McRaylen avoids it well. McRaylen wants to clinch. McNabb swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McRaylen counters with a nice double leg into side control. McNabb won't be happy with that. McRaylen looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McRaylen trying to control the position but McNabb is working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McNabb is trying to control McRaylen's posture but McRaylen avoids it. McRaylen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew McRaylen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McRaylen shoots in but McNabb avoids the takedown attempt easily. McRaylen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McNabb sprawls well. McNabb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McRaylen gets slowly back to his feet. McRaylen dodges the punch combination from McNabb.
No luck for McRaylen with that takedown attempt. Jack McNabb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew McRaylen. McRaylen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McNabb but McNabb pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jack McNabb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McNabb's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and McNabb duly obliges. McNabb looks to land a combination but McRaylen avoids it well. A nice combination there by McNabb.

That's one minute gone in the round. McRaylen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McNabb avoids it really well and circles away. McRaylen is breathing heavily. McNabb throws a series of punches but McRaylen avoids them all with ease. The fight stays on the outside here - McRaylen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McNabb throws a right and a left that McRaylen avoids nicely. McRaylen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A low kick from McNabb misses and McRaylen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McNabb's guard now. McRaylen throwing strikes from guard but McNabb blocks nicely. McRaylen throwing strikes but missing. McNabb is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McRaylen landing some decent shots from guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McNabb wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. McRaylen wants to control from the top but McNabb keeps moving. McNabb wants to stand but McRaylen is controlling the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. McRaylen content to stall in guard here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McRaylen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McNabb on his heels. He'll look to pass McNabb's guard now, I'm sure. McNabb keeping moving, preventing McRaylen from controlling successfully. McNabb wants to get back to his feet but McRaylen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McRaylen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. McRaylen connects with a couple of short punches. McNabb is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McRaylen is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McRaylen looking to pass the guard. McRaylen throws an elbow that misses. McNabb uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McRaylen's guard. Nice move by McNabb! McRaylen keeping moving, preventing McNabb from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A nice combination there by McNabb.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McNabb fails to land with a series of punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Horrible takedown by McRaylen or perhaps it was just good defense by McNabb which made him look bad. McRaylen is looking to clinch but McNabb is avoiding it.

A close second round but Andrew McRaylen will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McNabb is defended easily by McRaylen. McNabb tries to bum rush McRaylen with a series of wild strikes but McRaylen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McRaylen fails with the takedown. McNabb misses with a double jab
and McRaylen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McNabb's guard now. McRaylen wants to control from the top but McNabb keeps moving. McNabb is looking to stand up but McRaylen isn't so interested in that idea. McRaylen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McNabb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McRaylen has McNabb in his guard. McRaylen wants to sweep but no luck. Andrew McRaylen has got the better of the ground game so far.

He lands a short punch in the meantime. McNabb has one foot on McRaylen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. McNabb gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McRaylen trying to control the position from guard on top but McNabb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This has been an exciting period of action! McRaylen pushes down on McNabb's leg and manages to get into half guard. McRaylen trying to mount his opponent but McNabb defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McRaylen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McNabb doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McRaylen. McNabb tries to kick McRaylen off but McRaylen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McNabb looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McNabb is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McRaylen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McRaylen's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. McRaylen just trying to survive but McNabb is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Will McNabb go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Andrew McRaylen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
