Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, George Stump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brij Khali!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stump closes this distance looking for a takedown but Khali circles away.
Stump shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khali pinned against the cage. Khali gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Khali looks to land a right hand but Stump moved out of range.
Khali misses with a hook. Stump ducked under it nicely.
Khali connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stump momentarily.


It looks like George Stump has been cut.
Khali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stump moves away.
Khali keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Stump. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stump is rocked!
Stump has a takedown stuffed.
Stump uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Khali.
Stump will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Khali throws the left hand but Stump avoids the punch easily.

Stump shoots in and drives through. Khali sprawls well.

Khali tries to reverse the position but Stump maintains control.

Stump goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Khali is on top in guard.

Stump is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Khali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stump. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stump has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Khali is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stump.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stump is being controlled here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stump sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Khali scores with a hook.
Khali missing with a left hand there. Stump was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stump shoots in for a takedown but Khali shows good takedown defense.
A combination from Khali does no damage.
Khali rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stump moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stump closes the distance and clinches up with Khali, looking for a takedown. Stump pushes Khali against the cage but Khali circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stump defending well as Khali loads up on a big left hand.
Stump shoots in looking for a takedown. Khali tries to sprawl out of it but Stump keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khali manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stump closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stump is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Khali!
Khali is breathing heavily.

Stump is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Khali can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Khali is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Khali prevents Stump from taking his back.
Khali bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Stump looking for a guillotine here but Khali defends easily.
Khali trying to control but Stump is working from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stump is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Khali is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stump is staying active.

Stump is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Khali is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Stump has latched onto it... Big trouble! Stump pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Khali is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Stump!
