Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Graham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Mark! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mark gets a double leg takedown into Graham's guard. Graham keeping full guard, as Mark tries to pass. Mark pushing down on Graham's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mark controlling the pace. Graham is trying to stand back up but Mark is controlling him
Mark is keen to just control but Graham is a slippery customer. Mark stalling. Graham is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Matt Mark. Mark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Graham darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Mark thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Graham if he has to take too many more of those.
Graham tries to clinch there but Mark circles away.
Graham shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mark sprawls well. Mark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Graham gets slowly back to his feet. Graham is breathing heavily. Mark has managed to clinch.
Mark stalling.
Graham drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mark gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Graham goes for a takedown attempt but Mark pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Graham. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mark closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This has been an exciting period of action! Graham being controlled for a moment. Mark in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mark controls the position. Mark postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Graham takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mark is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Graham has escaped the position, nice work there. Graham tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mark stands up and we're back to a striking position. Mark moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Mark.

Mark has clasped his hands together around Graham's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mark trying to control the action but Graham is working from the bottom. Graham dodges the ground and pound from Mark. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matt Mark dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Graham shoots in but no luck this time. Graham fails in his attempt to clinch. Graham tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Graham misses with a series of wild punches.
Graham fails to land the takedown. Mark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Graham sprawls well initially but Mark persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mark lands strikes from half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mark stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Mark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Matt Mark hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mark fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Graham to the ground. Mark is now in Graham's guard. Graham will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Graham keeping moving, preventing Mark from controlling successfully. Mark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Matt Mark hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mark moves into the clinch successfully.
Graham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mark has Graham pressed against the cage, preventing Graham from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mark controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mark got a little sloppy there for a moment and Graham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mark has managed to get both his arms back between Graham's legs - danger averted. Mark is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Mark is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Graham is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Graham has escaped and now he's on top!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mark can do anything to dispel that myth. Mark has Graham pulled in close to control his posture. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Graham lands a couple of elbows. Mark seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Mark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Graham's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Graham throws the kick towards the body but Mark avoids it. Mark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mark controlling the position from side mount. Mark tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Graham struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Graham is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Mark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Graham keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graham has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mark is working away from the top position though.
Matt Mark has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Graham shoots in for a takedown but Mark shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Graham with a lazy takedown attempt and Mark counters with a shoot takedown. Graham fights it but they end up in guard. Graham wants to stand and escape but Mark is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graham looking for a sweep. Not yet Graham, not yet. Graham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Graham is really struggling to control Mark but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mark advances to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Still in half guard, Mark seems content to control. Mark landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Mark seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mark is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Graham is trying to control but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mark throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Graham was covering up waiting for the punch and Mark finishes the takedown easily into guard. Graham wants to stand and escape but Mark is having none of it. Graham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mark is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Matt Mark is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Graham is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mark defends well.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Mark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
