Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Mattenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Aggot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathew Mattenbauer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mathew Mattenbauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Franklin Aggot!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aggot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aggot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aggot wants it to stay on the feet.
Mattenbauer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aggots jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mattenbauer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Aggot fails with the takedown

Aggot feints and then cracks Mattenbauer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mattenbauer down.
Mattenbauer wants to clinch.
Mattenbauer throws the left hand but Aggot avoids the punch easily.
Aggot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mattenbauer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mattenbauer winds up and cracks Aggot with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Aggot shoots in for a takedown but Mattenbauer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mattenbauer swings for the body but Aggot moves out of range.
Aggot moves away from the strike by Mattenbauer.
Aggot throws a series of punches but Mattenbauer avoids them all with ease.

Mattenbauer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mattenbauer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aggot swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aggot.

Mathew Mattenbauer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franklin Aggot.
