Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikita Pietroff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baas Kuip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pietroff comes to the cage accompanied by Russian National Anthem. Kuip is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Future World Music - Fight. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikita Pietroff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Baas Kuip! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuip takes the fight into the clinch. Kuip tries to pull guard but Pietroff won't allow it.
Pietroff misses with a knee strike.
Pietroff working hard to break the clinch. Knees to the body from Kuip.
Kuip is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pietroff gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kuip manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kuip is defended easily by Pietroff. Nikita Pietroff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baas Kuip. A leg kick checked by Pietroff. Kuip lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Pietroff throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pietroff dives in and grabs Kuip's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kuip pushes down on Pietroff's head and hops out. Kuip throws a right and a left that both miss. Kuip forces Pietroff back against the cage and clinches. Kuip pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuip tries to bum rush Pietroff with a series of wild strikes but Pietroff uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pietroff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kuip swivels and escapes. Kuip tries to clinch but Pietroff is having none of it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pietroff. Pietroff trying to control the position but Kuip is working away. Pietroff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuip tries to escape back to his feet but Pietroff has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Kuip's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Kuip is tapping! Pietroff saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nikita Pietroff! After winning the bout, Nikita Pietroff thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
