Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Swanson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Don't Know. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Swanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rider! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Swanson there. Swanson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Swanson are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Swanson advances nicely into full mount. Swanson punching from mount but Rider doing a good job of avoiding damage. Swanson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Swanson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rider has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rider is squirming around, avoiding Swanson's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swanson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rider can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Swanson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rider's face.
Swanson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Swanson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rider because Swanson loaded up on that one. Poor strikes thrown by Swanson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swanson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rider covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Swanson! After winning the bout, Joe Swanson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
