Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sanek Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Jutsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Jutsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sanek Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Jutsu!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jutsu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jutsu has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Jutsu controlling his opponent.

Jutsu looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jutsu looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jutsu throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Karelin because Jutsu loaded up on that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jutsu controlling from mount.
Jutsu is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jutsu controlling his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karelin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

BOOM! Jutsu connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jutsu has hold of Karelin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Karelin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Jutsu dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Karelin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jutsu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A punch combination from Jutsu misses.
Karelin tries to clinch but Jutsu is having none of it.
Jutsu wants to land a leg kick but Karelin is out of range.
Jutsu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Karelin swivels and escapes.
Karelin lands a jab to the nose.
Jutsu shoots in looking for a takedown. Karelin tries to sprawl out of it but Jutsu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karelin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Karelin throws a body punch but Jutsu moves out of range.
Jutsu shoots in but no luck this time.
Sanek Karelin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Jutsu.

Jutsu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Karelin's half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jutsu with the ground and pound but Karelin uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Jutsu with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jutsu showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Jutsu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Jutsu tries to free his leg and advance position but Karelin is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Johnny Jutsu.
Karelin is looking to clinch.
Karelin looks to land a right hand but Jutsu moved out of range.
Johnny Jutsu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jutsu leaves Karelin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jutsu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Karelin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karelin throws a shot from downtown. Jutsu moves away and avoids it.
Jutsu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jutsu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karelin as he avoids it easily.

Jutsu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Karelin quickly recovers to half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Jutsu was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jutsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Jutsu looking to score a takedown here. Karelin is defending well but Jutsu drives through and ends up in Karelin's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jutsu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Jutsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Jutsu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Karelin was covering up waiting for the punch and Jutsu finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jutsu's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Karelin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karelin tries to get out of the position.
Jutsu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jutsu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Johnny Jutsu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jutsu trying to control the position from guard on top but Karelin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Jutsu was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Karelin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jutsu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jutsu drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jutsu as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Karelin screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jutsu! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Johnny Jutsu!
