Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desean Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Titus Borrello! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Borrello has taken the fight into the clinch. Jackson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Borrello is trying to push Jackson away but Jackson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Borrello has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Borrello stalling.
Borrello digs a right hand into Jackson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jackson's gas tank. Borrello breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Borrello avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jackson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Borrello is able to avoid easily. Jackson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Borrello. Borrello gets a clinch. Borrello can't break the clinch.
Borrello keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jackson's efforts to push away. Borrello lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Borrello is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Borrello is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Borrello is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. He's now off balance and Borrello manages to pass to side control. Jackson parries the strikes from Borrello easily there. Borrello is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jackson to escape.

Possibly, maybe, no Borrello has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson dodges the ground and pound from Borrello. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Borrello throwing shots but missing, from side control. Borrello stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Borrello closes the distance and clinches. Borrello lands on the inside with an uppercut. Borrello has hold of one of Jackson's legs. Jackson is fighting the takedown attempt but Borrello gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Borrello stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Borrello connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Borrello connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Borrello misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Borrello clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Borrello is looking for a takedown. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Borrello has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Borrello's legs - danger averted.

Titus Borrello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Borrello pushes Jackson up against the cage in a clinch. Borrello pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Borrello. A right-left combo lands from Borrello. Borrello connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jackson's hands.
Jackson is rocked! Borrello clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Borrello can't get the takedown.
Borrello throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jackson blocks it with crossed arms. Borrello ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Borrello no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Titus Borrello has got the better of the ground game so far. Borrello escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Borrello is retaining full guard. Borrello is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Borrello ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Borrello no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Titus Borrello is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Borrello working for a submission but Jackson is keeping him at bay.
And that's the end of the fight! Titus Borrello comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Borrello has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Titus Borrello! A relieved looking Titus Borrello thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
