Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vilho Alanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alanen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Turmion Kätilöt - Grand Ball. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vilho Alanen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Evans! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alanen wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Evans uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alanen. Alanen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Alanen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Evans blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Alanen misses with some punches.
Alanen can't find room to land a body shot as Evans controls the action.

It looks like Marcus Evans has been cut. Evans pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alanen tries to clinch letting Evans counter with a right hand. Alanen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Evans connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alanen but Alanen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Evans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Evans lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Alanen closes the distance but Evans moves to the side enabling Evans to counter with a crisp jab. Evans is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Alanen misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Alanen moves to clinch but Evans breaks away and Evans counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alanen's guard now. Evans pushing down on Alanen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Evans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alanen's head. Evans looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Evans stops Alanen from getting back to his feet.
Evans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Alanen looks like he's trying to stand up.
Evans performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evans wants to control but Alanen is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alanen pushes Evans off and gets back to his feet. Vilho Alanen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Alanen tries to clinch and Evans counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Evans loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Evans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Alanen looking to control.
Evans postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Alanen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Alanen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Evans wants to pass the guard but Alanen is keeping the position. Evans trying to control but Alanen is working from the bottom. Alanen being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Marcus Evans has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Evans bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Alanen's head. Evans dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Evans scores with a body shot.
Alanen wants to clinch but Evans slips to the side and Evans counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Alanen looks up at the clock. Bad move! Evans lands a right hand from hell, dropping Alanen. Evans pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Evans! Marcus Evans decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
